With a next-generation platform, the CAD design is not just the foundation for the bill of materials (BOM); it is the engineering BOM. This approach eliminates the need for extra synchronization steps from CAD and allows all engineering disciplines to collaborate within a single, visualizable structure. Part three of this nine-part webinar series showcases how the platform integrates CAD designs directly as engineering BOMs and manages manufacturing BOMs using 3D geometry. Christopher Nelson is an accomplished technical and operations executive who serves as an Industry Process Consultant for 3DEXCITE at Dassault Systèmes. He has a wealth of expertise in digital solutions, CGI, and real-time technologies, with a distinguished career spanning more than two decades. Christopher excels in bridging the gap between developers and users, architecting simple solutions for complex problems, and leading high-performance teams. He holds dual bachelor's degrees in fine arts from the College for Creative Studies, as well as an Innovation & Entrepreneurship Professional Certificate from Stanford University, and is currently pursuing a degree in marketing management and digital strategy at Harvard.
